Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove, representative of California's 37th District, demanded this Thursday that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) provide adequate medical care to one of her constituents, Carlitos Ricardo Parias, who is detained at its Adelanto facility.
In a statement, Kamlager-Dove said that Parias was a victim after being shot in the arm during an immigration control operation in October 2025.
Kamlager-Dove mentioned that Parias, since he has remained at the ICE Processing Center in Adelanto, has been denied adequate medical care due to the health problems he suffers as a result of the bullet he received near the elbow.
