After a video that went viral showing former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama with ape-like systems, Republican Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina officially criticized President Donald Trump. The White House immediately removed the tape, which sparked a wave of emotions, and relives the debate about racism in the country. Scott, the only African-American Republican senator and viewed as a Trump supporter on a number of issues, reacted strongly to his X bill, saying it was" the most prejudiced thing" he had ever seen coming from the White House. Additionally, he made a direct request that the information been taken down.

Discussion over the Obama videos and racism accusations

Trump posted a video on his Truth Social account on Thursday evening that resembled a song about The Lion King and featured the eyes of Barack and Michelle Obama superimposed on monkeys in the final moments. A White House official claimed that a team member made the post inadvertently and that it had already been taken down after the controversy. However, the description did not stop the criticism. Many Republicans also voiced their disapproval, including Representative Mike Lawler, who said the video may be removed, whether or not it was intended to be, and that an apology get issued. According to reports, the entire picture concentrated mainly on unproven principles of election scams in 2020. However, the discussion was sparked by the last scene.
