Marjorie Taylor Greene, former congresswoman from Georgia who was an ally of Donald Trump during his campaign seeking to return to the White House and later ended up regretting it, ranted against the party that opened the door to the House of Representatives for him.

Through platform

“There are MANY of us who are absolutely fed up and will not support a party that betrays its voters and its country.

That doesn't mean we're becoming Democrats. But we are SICK OF the Republican Party, which always leaves America last,” he wrote.

In an interview previously given to the Politico website, Taylor Greene temporarily ruled out opting for the possibility of betraying her political beliefs by jumping to the Democratic side.

"I'm definitely more inclined to define myself as independent... I haven't changed yet. But I'll probably think about it carefully," he said.

After Trump aired that the former representative was furious with him for refusing to support her to seek a seat in the Senate, the Georgian has not stopped criticizing him to the point of attributing to him for having plunged the nation into a deep crisis thanks to the declaration of war implemented against Iran.

"Unbelievable!! This is exactly what Trump's war on Iran, costing billions every day, is doing to Americans. MAGA supporters used to call this Biden inflation and shout from the rooftops about this garbage.

IT'S NOT WHY WE CAMPAIGNED. IT'S NOT WHAT THE PEOPLE VOTED FOR. THE NATION IS IN DECRISIS,” he wrote in another post shared on the X platform.

It should be noted that the union projected by the Republicans prior to the 2024 elections seems to be breaking down, largely due to the removal of some who were part of their cabinet and, due to the lack of support shown towards others who aspired to triumph in the conservative party primaries.

From the perspective of several political analysts, the litmus test for Trump and those who are still part of his circle of trust will be the midterm elections.
