The former world champion compared the landscape of Mexican footballers with South American. Trezeguet considers that coming to Europe is an almost mandatory evolution in the career of Conmebol footballers. This is the main objective.
“A player, in the case of what happens at least in South America, is the growth of the player at the educational level. After being in the first team, the automatic ambition is to go to European football. It’s the growth of yourself, of a player who has ambition with sacrifice,” he added.
