No survivors were left behind the small plane's crash over the weekend while it was taking off from the Nazca Lines, but the Peruvian Air Accident Investigation Commission ( CIAA ) has called on the aeronautical authorities from Germany, Canada, Spain, the United States, and Italy to join the investigation.

The Peruvian Ministry of Transportation and Communications made this report on Monday in a statement related to the accident that was recorded on Saturday, August 1 at 1:00 p. m. local time ( 6: 00 p. m. GMT ) on Monday.

A Cessna Caravan C-208 little planes from Aerodiana, which was dedicated to flying over the Nazca Lines, crashed shortly after leaving the airport in Pisco for unknown reasons.

Two staff members of Colombian citizenship were present on board the plane, along with eleven visitors, including two Italians, two Spaniards, and two Germans.

The CIAA will remain in Nazca until the field work is completed. Subsequently, the team will move to Pisco, where it will continue with the investigation process.

Within 30 days after the accident, a preliminary report must be submitted, a document that will contain the main findings obtained during the investigation.

The General Directorate of Civil Aeronautics (DGAC) of Peru ordered on Sunday the temporary suspension of operations of the Aerodiana company, as a preventive measure until investigations are concluded to verify compliance with the provisions, procedures and conditions established in the applicable aeronautical regulations.
