My monthly older health fair will take place at the Carson Community Center on Friday, August 14. Seniors will be able to get a hot meal, completely preventative and important screenings, and free food. Seniors in California should be able to receive high-quality medical care without having to pay a lot of money, which is why we're bringing some necessary service to the 44th District of California.

Various health testing and exams will be provided by health organizations, including:

– Blood pressure tests, cholesterol tests, mental health tests, medical exams, heart exams, thyroid tests, and vision exams.

This incident occurs at a time when Donald Trump's and the Republicans ' failed economic policies have made it extremely difficult for seniors to obtain quality health care.

Trump dramatically reduced Medicaid and refused to renew Affordable Care Act tax credits, which helped lower costs for Americans, last month, denying millions of Americans access to health care. Through his massive revenue costs, known as the One Big Beautiful Bill, he paid for billionaire tax cuts. The largest Medicaid reduction in history is$ 1 billion. More than 2 million Californians may reduce their health insurance coverage as a result of these breaks, according to estimates, and a huge percentage of them are elderly.

A saver, healthcare. It is frequently the only type of insurance that provides long-term treatment, such as nursing home care, home health care, and other service elderly require.
