California DMV could stop Tesla sales for 30 days
State authorities ask Tesla to correct advertising claims about its self-driving and autopilot features that are deemed misleading
If the state doesn't correct misleading advertising claims about Tesla's self-driving and autopilot features, the state's department of motor vehicle ( DMV) may suspend sales of the car.
It was claimed that Tesla made and distributed falsehoods by advertising its vehicles as loaded, or possibly equipped, with features similar to self-driving ability in a statement that the possibility was reported after the DMV. Administrative Judge Juliet Cox urged Tesla to stop producing and selling cars for 30 times.
