He received a 14-month jail sentence for the sexual assault he committed in 2024, but it was also suspended, so he avoided jail. Mohamed received credit for occasion served, one time of probation, and an extra 364 days in the Hennepin County Asylum. The statement was justified by the Hennepin County Attorney's Office.
