Lupita Jones, the first Mexican woman to win the Miss Universe crown ( 1991 ), is at the center of controversy after questioning the behavior of the current universal queen, Fatima Bosch.

The controversy stems from Fatima Bosch's participation in a wagon in her native Tabasco, where the beauty queen was filmed dancing and mingling pleasantly with visitors. These photographs, celebrated by many for showing a spontaneous and friendly perspective, did not sit well with Lupita Jones.
