Taylor Swift continues to break records in the music industry. Her latest hit, 'The Fate of Ophelia', is dominating the Billboard Hot 100 for the tenth consecutive week, becoming the first single of her career to hold the number one spot for a double-digit period. The song, from her album 'The Life of a Showgirl', which has itself spent 12 weeks atop the Billboard 200, is achieving a double feat. The album becomes the fifth in history to lead the Billboard 200 for 10 or more weeks, while also producing a single that tops the Hot 100 for at least that same amount of time, according to Billboard's website. Between December 26 and January 1, 'The Fate of Ophelia' recorded 18.4 million official streams (up 1%) and 62.1 million radio audience impressions (up 2%).

Although sales experienced a 63% drop, with 11,000 copies sold, the song remained the best-selling single of the week, also topping the Digital Song Sales chart for the seventh week.

This milestone extends Swift's dominance in the decade: she now has eight number one hits on the Hot 100 during the 2020s, accumulating 28 weeks at the top, the most of any artist this decade.

In total, her 13 number-one singles tie her for fourth place all-time, and her 46 total weeks at number one tie her with Beyonce for seventh place all-time.

As Swift consolidates her reign, Djo—the musical project of actor Joe Keery (Stranger Things)—achieves his first top 10 hit on the Hot 100. His song 'End of Beginning' jumps from number 16 to number 6, boosted in part by the recent finale of the popular Netflix series.
