The illegal fireworks that were set off on the night of July 4 in Los Angeles were so bright that they were visible from space, according to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
The federal agency shared on social media the spectacular views that were captured on the night of July 4 from the International Space Station while it orbited over Southern California.
“A celebration so brilliant that it reached space!” NASA published on its official X social network account.
