According to a new national surveys conducted by Reuters and Ipsos, public support for President Donald Trump's immigration policy has dropped to its lowest level since his White House profit. The study reveals a reduction in assistance for one of the issues that has been at the heart of his political and government policies. Simply 38 % of people surveyed think the president is doing a great job on immigration, according to this poll. The pattern shows a significant reduction in contrast to the support levels he recorded months after coming back to power, which reached about half of those surveyed, despite the change appearing minor compared to previous measurements. One of the most interesting findings is the change in male voters. This group was crucial to the victory in the 2014 vote and, for the majority of 2015, maintained authorization levels of close to 50 % on immigration. Male support on this topic currently stands at around 41 %, which is a problem in a group that has typically been supportive of the leader. In the most recent survey, support for women has decreased from 40 % in 2025 to 35 %. The Trump administration has no solution that immigration policy has been top of their list since the start of his new name. After taking office, operations were launched in various parts of the nation in response to the president's promise to launch a massive imprisonment strategy. As demonstrations, clashes with activists, and even the deaths of two US citizens as a result of the actions of ICE agents, increased, and pictures of officials with their heads covered became more prevalent during functions and attacks. With only over 1, 000 people participating global, the survey's margin of error is about three percentage points. It comes to the conclusion that immigration continues to be a very sensitive matter.
