The CEO of Southern California Edison's (SCE) parent company admitted that the electric utility company's crew was likely responsible for starting the Eaton fire, which broke out in January in the Altadena area of ??Los Angeles.
A video captured by a resident, posted on Social media showed that the fire apparently broke out and grew near SCE's towers in Eaton Canyon on the afternoon of January 7. Given this evidence, SCE President and CEO Pedro Pizarro said his team is “likely the cause” of the devastating fire that killed 19 people and destroyed nearly 10,000 structures.
