The Lexus LX 2027 doesn’t need to give up its adventurous side to get up to date. The larger SUV of the Japanese brand incorporates new technological features, equipment improvements andins a setup ready for those looking for something more than comfort when leaving the asphalt.

The main protagonist of the range continues to be the LX 700h version, which combines a 3.4-litre biturbo V6 with a hybrid system to deliver 457 horsepower and 583 pounds-foot torque. Both this model and the LX 600 can pull up to 8,000 pounds.

The LX 700h uses a nickel-metal hydride battery and a 10-speed Direct Shift automatic transmission.
But Lexus incorporated an unusual solution to increase the ability to respond to an eventual failure. The hybrid system has a standard alternator and starter engine. If the hybrid electric system has a problem, the start engine can turn on the combustion propeller, while the alternator can power the auxiliary 12 volt battery.
The hybrid battery is also protected by a waterproof structure.The manufacturer assures that the vehicle can pass through up to 27.5 inches of water.
The LX 2027 uses the GA-F platform, developed for vehicles with backbone and all-terrain orientation.The range retains elements such as Active Height Control, Adaptive Variable Suspension and Multi-Terrain Select.
This latter system allows the performance of the SUV to be adapted to surfaces such as sand, mud, rock, land and deep snow. There is also an automatic mode that uses information from different sensors to make the adjustments.
The Multi-Terrain Monitor complements this capability with four cameras that show on a 12.3-inch display what happens around and beneath the vehicle.
The update also reaches the interior. The LX can incorporate seats with massage and two or three row configurations, while the Ultra Luxury version bets on four seats and rear seats designed to offer greater comfort.
The multimedia system uses a 12.3-inch and a 7-inch screen. Connected navigation uses information from Google, while the “Hola Lexus” assistant allows voice commands to control functions such as air conditioning, navigation and entertainment.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless are part of the connectivity proposal.The LX 700h can also equip advanced parking with remote control from the phone.
Those who prefer to avoid the hybrid system can opt for the LX 600. Its 3.4-litre biturbo V6 develops 409 horsepower and 479 pounds-foot torque, also associated with the 10-speed automatic transmission.
The F SPORT Handling versionins a more dynamic behavior-focused configuration, with 22-inch forged tyres, Torsen differential and specific suspension and direction settings. By 2027 it will also incorporate red series brake pinches.
Safety does not depend on the level of equipment. All LX 2027s include Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, track assistance, signal recognition and automatic highlights.
The initial price of the Lexus LX 2027 in the United States is $109,050, and the first units are expected to reach dealers by the end of 2026.
