A 32-year-old woman and a 75-year-old man were arrested in Waco, Texas, accused of allegedly performing obscene acts at an apartment complex pool, an incident that authorities say occurred in front of families and minors.

According to an arrest affidavit cited by KWTX, the incident occurred around 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the Central Texas Marketplace apartment complex pool.

Authorities identified those arrested as Emilie Parma, 32, and Douglas Faith, 75.

Witnesses alerted the police about the presence of children

According to the court file, several witnesses called 911 to report that the couple was engaging in conduct of a sexual nature in one of the corners of the pool, a situation that, they stated, was making the children who were there uncomfortable.

When officers arrived at the scene, they interviewed those involved. According to the affidavit, Faith acknowledged that Parma was on top of him, but denied that the two were having sex.

The man explained to the agents that he has a penile implant and maintained that, for that reason, they were not having sexual relations, although he admitted that there was contact of a sexual nature between the two.

Both face charges; one was also charged with possession of marijuana

Following the initial investigation, Parma and Faith were arrested and charged with lewd conduct in a public place.

In addition, Faith faces an additional charge of possession of marijuana, after agents found in her possession two cigarettes that allegedly contained that substance.

Court records indicate that Parma was released after posting $1,500 bail, while Faith was released after posting $3,000 bail.

The case continues its course in the McLennan County court system.
