A 28-year-old female suspect was taken into custody on suspicion of fleeing the scene following a fatal incident in the Hyde Park neighborhood, located south of Los Angeles, on September 22, 2026. The incident resulted in the death of a 16-year-old Spanish male and left his 14-year-old sister with serious injuries.
Los Angeles Police Department detectives apprehended Raygine Evans, the individual suspected of involvement in a hit and run incident, at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28.
Evans is being held in custody with a substantial bail of over $3 million following her arrest on suspicion of murder, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's prison records.
