A 10-day operation conducted in Texas by the Department of National Security resulted in the detention of 4,170 foreign nationals without legal status who were allegedly linked to various crimes.

US Department of Homeland Security Chief Markwayne Mullin commended the outcomes of the "Lone Star Mission", a collaborative operation conducted by the five regional offices of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Texas, from the 19th to the 29th of the current month.

Operation Lone Star has achieved significant results, with Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents conducting a major operation that has led to the apprehension of over 4,100 individuals.

A joint operation between Texas law enforcement and federal authorities resulted in the apprehension of individuals accused of committing serious crimes, including murder, sexual assault, drunk driving, and human trafficking.

The operation highlights the significance of partnerships between state and local authorities in safeguarding American communities.

US Department of Homeland Security Secretary, Michael Mullin, highlighted the significance of partnerships in the successful operation of the Lone Star Mission conducted by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The mission resulted in the arrest of over 4,100 individuals who were in the country illegally within a 10-day period. Secretary Mullin expressed gratitude to the state of Texas for its cooperation and to the various partners who assisted in the operation.

The official and the agency failed to provide details on the number of individuals who were allegedly taken into custody pending trial or charges.

Advocates for immigrant rights and certain activists concur that numerous individuals have been apprehended for alleged migration infractions.

The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) website has published a limited number of photographs of detained foreign nationals, with only five images available. Notably, Víctor Manuel Macías-Castro, a Mexican citizen and alleged member of the La Línea Cartel, is one of the individuals featured in the released images.

A notable aspect of the individual's past convictions involves charges related to conspiracy to facilitate the entry, transportation, or harboring of foreign nationals.
