The uncertainty and bitterness that left the unexpected cancellation of last Thursday turned into a memorable night for Latin music. Carin León resumed on Friday, September 11, her historic De Sonora for the World residence in Sphere, Las Vegas, offering an electrifying show before 20,000 fans who overwhelmed the most sophisticated technological site on the planet.
The sound artist had had to suspend his previous show due to severe logistics problems with his team’s flights. However, the performer was responsible for dissipating any doubts from the first minute he walked the stage.
In a direct message to his followers through social media before going out to sing, Leon expressed: “My beautiful people of Las Vegas, we are already here, after what happened yesterday unfortunately, and now we are well prepared.”
The encounter with the public was not only marked by an imposing visual deployment within the immersive structure, but by the presence of top-level guests who made the evening a milestone for the Mexican regional genre.
One of the top moments of the night occurred when Pepe Aguilar rose to the stage to perform a duo the emblematic classic “For women like you”, unleashing the euphoria of the crowd.
The party continued with the special appearance of José Guadalupe Esparza, leader and vocalist of the legendary Bronco group. León, who cataloged Esparza as one of the highest idols of his childhood, joined his voice to that of the icon of the northern summit to tone great hits such as “If you fall in love again”.
Over the course of two hours of concert, the repertoire included start-to-end hits such as “El amor de mi herida”, “De compas” and the infallible contagious rhythm of “La boda del Huitlacoche”.
