Talking about sexual fantasies shouldn't get forbidden because they are a product of human imagination. Yet, they are a significant portion of the lives of many people, and not everyone fantasizes the same way.

This was confirmed by a study that was published in the medical journal PLOS One and found that some personality traits had a significant impact on the frequency and intensity of these ideas.

More than 5, 000 adults between the ages of 18 and 94 were analyzed by experts to understand how individuality affects sexual fantasies. There were no discernible differences between some information and others in the results.

Who among us has the most physical thoughts?

People with a character trait known as neuroticism are those who reported a significantly higher frequency of sexual thoughts, according to the study's findings.

People with a desire to be anxious and experience negative emotions are described as having this personality type.

Similar to this relationship, it appeared in almost all of the categories that the researchers examined, including exploratory, close, impersonal fantasies, and those that involved dominance or submission.

Additionally, the experts discovered that the most perceptive character was more likely to be depressed symptoms than anxiety or emotional instability. In this way, these people may regulate their emotions more naturally and create happier moods by using their sexual fantasies.

Who has fewer erotic thoughts, exactly?

Additionally, according to the research, those who have fewer sexual fantasies are those who exhibit high levels of empathy and accountability. The scientists found that this change was primarily related to the sense of personal responsibility rather than to organizational or productivity-related factors.

Anything related occurred to those who received higher ratings for agreeability. Respect for social norms and standard values was the determining factor in this situation, whereas other traits like trust or compassion did not exhibit important influence.

According to experts, these people may be more under pressure to conform to certain social norms and may therefore be more reluctant to prevent thoughts about sexual fantasies.
