Superintendent Alberto Carvalho of the Los Angeles Unified School District ( LAUSD ) has resigned, according to district officials.
Four decades after FBI agents raided Carvalho's home and office at district offices as part of an investigation into LAUSD's failed artificial intelligence chatbot job, the LAUSD conducted an investigation into the contract between the school district and the area.
In his letter announcing his departure, Carvalho stated," It has been a tremendous honor serving you. " It is addressed to LAUSD individuals, families, educators, and staff.
