Bass reported that an evacuation order was issued for the Riverwood community due to a routine partial release from the Tujunga Dam to prevent potential flooding in the area. “This is a standard process that has been carried out in the past. Residents of the Riverwood neighborhood are being personally notified of this necessary measure, and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) issued a mandatory evacuation order,” the mayor said.
