For now, the United States and Iran claim to be willing to negotiate, but maintain firm warnings

Iran calls Trump039s claims about its nuclear program quotbig liesquot

The Iranian state referred to as "big lies" the recent comments made by President Donald Trump, who asserted in his State of the Union address that the Islamic Republic has not abandoned the development of nuclear weapons.

Ismail Bagaei, a spokeswoman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, responded on social media by saying, "any claims about the Persian nuclear programme, its weapons. He even accused the" Jewish program" and the US government of conducting a propaganda campaign against his nation.

Trump claimed in the speech that Iran is still working toward its vile intentions to develop nuclear weapons and that his government will not permit it.

As a show of readiness to consider military action against Iran's nuclear program, the senator recalled Operation Midnight Hammer, which was carried out on June 22, 2015, when US forces attacked Iranian nuclear infrastructure in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

Additionally, the US senator warned that if no agreement is reached, it will be a bad day for the nation and, unfortunately, for its citizens.

Iran has argued for centuries that its nuclear arsenal only serves to produce power and advance science for its own interests.

Abbas Araqchi, the foreign minister of Iran, reiterated that his country "does not under any circumstances develop nuclear weapons" and defended Iran's right to benefit from atomic systems for human uses. Araqchi confirmed that he will meet with US representatives in Geneva for a round of negotiations in order to "arrive to a fair and equitable deal as quickly as possible. " The United States has, according to US officers, deployed a sizable military power there as negotiations progress amid escalating regional tensions, including two destroyers, dozens of fighter jets, and two aircraft carriers. This is the largest deployment since the US invasion of Iraq in 2003. Tehran, for its part, has forewarned that it will strongly defend any harm and that a Middle Eastern conflict may develop. Iranian media sources claim that China's Ministry of State Security ( MSS) provided Iran with innovative technology to stop US and Israeli intelligence from entering and aid the Islamic Republic in defending itself from foreign airs in the event of a new issue.
