Karen Bass took an early lead in the primary elections for mayor of Los Angeles, according to the first partial results of the electoral process this Tuesday, June 2.
Bass, who is seeking re-election for a second term, was leading the vote with 36.5%, according to data released by the “Los Angeles Times” a few minutes after the voting centers in the city closed.
The surprise was with reality television star Spencer Pratt coming in second in the race, with 30.1%, ahead of Councilwoman Nithya Raman, who had 20.2%.
