The former personal assistant of actor Matthew Perry, Kenneth Iwamasa, was sentenced this Wednesday to three years and five months in prison for his role in the overdose death of the star of the television series “Friends.”
In August 2024, Iwamasa, 60, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine, the narcotic from which Perry overdosed at his Pacific Palisades residence on October 28, 2023.
The actor's former assistant was sentenced to 41 months in federal prison, two years of probation and a $10,000 fine.
