PBS SoCal premieres series about Rey Mysterio Sr., a wrestling legend on the border
“Legends of Lucha Libre” reviews the life of Rey Mysterio Sr., his school in Tijuana, and the weight of his name in Los Angeles wrestling
Rey Mysterio Sr. , a legendary boxer from Tijuana who transformed wrestling in both Mexico and Southern California, is the subject of PBS SoCal's four-part digital video line" Mythology of Lucha Libre. " The collection is a part of the Arts & Culture lineup for the common channel and centers on how the Latino community in Los Angeles and the border boxing rings relate. Episodes are available for free on the PBS software and network site, and they are shown every week on PBS SoCal's YouTube route. Additionally, a television special will be produced that will bring the crowd in the area's state's region together and fit all four episodes into one episode.
