In Los Angeles County, a Spanish special schooling assistant was charged with sexually abusing an 8-year-old kid with a disability.
After being accused of assaulting a disabled baby and two more victims, Joseph Vladimir Sanchez, 25, of Glendale, is facing criminal charges.
The investigation started on December 19, 2025, when officers responded to a report of sexual abuse on an elementary school campus involving an 8-year-old impaired student, according to the Glendale Police Department.
