The Las Vegas Sphere was a witness to a meeting between the Mexican regional and the pop ballad. For the closing of her successful concert residence titled “De Sonora para el Mundo”, Carin León surprised the public by presenting Cristian Castro as a special guest.
The appearance of the interpreter of “Azul” came only a day after this joke in his own show thanking the attendees for “not going to see Carin León”. What seemed like a joke turned out to be the forefront of a big surprise for the fans of both stars.
During the evening, the sonorous performer did not shy away from praise to receive the romantic singer. To say your name is to talk about Mexico, is to talk about music, is to talk about virtuosism and great human beings. “First time I feel nervous!” expressed Carin León visibly excited in front of a public who applauded the “Gallito Feliz”.

Adjusted to the aesthetics of the night, Cristian Castro rose to the stage lusting coffee jeans, boots and a texan hat, making a glimpse of respect for the regional culture. Together they vibrated the iconic immersive sphere by uniting their voices in classics of Spanish music such as “Yo Quería”, “Azul” and “No Podrás”, which were choreographed to all the lungs by the thousands of people present.
Cristian Castro’s presentation was the culmination of a series of shows that took place between 4 and 13 September. Thro these days, the “De Sonora para el Mundo” residence had the participation of top figures of Mexican music, including Pepe Aguilar, Lupe Esparza (leader of the Bronco group) and the pop group Reik, who opened the stage that same night with themes adapted to the sound technology of the place.
