The controversy between Gala Montes and Emiliano Aguilar gave an unexpected turn. After weeks of crossings of statements, public negatives and harsh signs about her short romance, the actress and singer offered an open apology to Pepe Aguilar's son, acknowledging that her words were a product of anger.
The conflict, which captured the headlines, came to a point of bankruptcy in mid-September when Emiliano denied havingined a relationship with the actress and announced that he had blocked her from all of his social networks to curb speculation.
Far from calming the spirits, the refusal sparked the fury of Montes, who in live transmissions confirmed that they went out, admitted to having been unfaithful to his then partner —Icho Van— with the rapper and launched a controversial commentary on the personal hygiene of the singer, stating that he does not bathe.
Upon her arrival in Mexico City on September 27, the performer was addressed by the press and took advantage of the cameras to retreat and spread a message to the musician:
“I was angry; I am very sorry for what I said. I am very sorry. Emily, apologize if you are seeing this. Someday I will do it personally. I know this is not the place, but I regret having said that; I was very angry, you hurt me and that’s all I can say.”
Being questioned about what she said of Aguilar’s toilet habits, the actress avoided deepening the topic and reiterated her apologies, attributing her expressions to a moment of emotional uproar.
The bond between the two began in June 2026, after a trip together to Cartagena, Colombia, which revived rumors of romance. However, the relationship collapsed after a visit to Los Angeles, as Gala said Emiliano left her planted.
Before the dispute, Gala Montes and Emiliano Aguilar were collaborating on a musical project intended for the next album of the actress, titled “La hija de nadie”. It is not yet known whether this collaboration will come to light.
