The Pokemon franchise's creators objected to the Trump administration's use of one of its video games to encourage the MAGA slogan, which they deem inappropriate because they had not even been consulted ahead.

The White House made a post on Instagram and the X system, which was formerly known as On Twitter, that referenced the support of the new video game" Pokemon Pokopia," but the questionable improvement included Donald Trump's phrase" Make America Great Again," which he popularized during his 2016 presidential campaign. A lightning bolt, a symbol associated with Pikachu, the Pokemon figure, and the word MAGA are also displayed in the article. The popularity of the game among young Americans suggests a possible relationship with potential voters, Washington said, but he offered no justification for using the physical idea of" Pokemon Pokopia. " The Pokemon Company International, however, made a statement outlining its distaste for the latest U. S. supervision, stating that it had never requested permission to use an image associated with the Japanese global corporation's Tokyo headquarters. We are aware of new social media posts that feature images that are related to our company. We did not take part in their design or submission, and no authorization was granted for the use of our academic house. Our goal is to bring the earth together, and this goal is unrelated to any political views or agendas," reads a section of the email.

The Department of Homeland Security ( DHS) used the theme song from" Pokemon" to soundtrack a video showing immigration and customs enforcement ( ICE ) agents detained in the United States in September of last year. The picture had a title that read," Gotta catch'em all," a phrase from the Pokemon series. Additionally, some of the arrested people's eyes appeared on playing cards, which was very similar to the Pokemon strategy. The controversial film is still popular on official state social media accounts despite The Pokemon Company International's claim that they weren't asked about using their content.
