The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) reported that thousands of people who passed their exams to obtain their driver's licenses are receiving letters warning that their documents may be canceled.
DMV officials confirmed that about 11,000 Californians who obtained their licenses received letters indicating that their written test results showed certain “irregularities.”
In the letters, the state department warned them that they must retake the written exam within 30 days, and if they fail to do so, they will lose their licenses.
