This Wednesday, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) informed American consumers about the voluntary recall of pints of a non-dairy frozen dessert due to possible contamination.

According to the health agency's statement, the recalled food is the So Delicious brand dairy-free frozen dessert that reportedly contains stones and hard objects in its packaging.

The FDA indicated that “the company has already identified and corrected this problem and will soon be able to bring back the frozen dessert that so many people enjoy,” it said, while detailing in the report which products are affected:

Pints ??of Dairy Free Salted Caramel Cluster non-dairy frozen desserts with SKU code 136603 and UPC code 74447347613 with expiration dates prior to August 8, 2027.

According to the FDA, the manufacturer is working quickly to remove the affected products from store shelves. In the meantime, it recommends that consumers discard the product or return it to the store where it was purchased for a refund.
