Jeb Bush considers that Cuba has 300 drones of Iranian origin, which implies a risk for US security
Jeb Bush, former governor of Florida, indicated that the Cuban government has 300 drones of Iranian origin, which it could use if it felt threatened by the administration headed by Donald Trump.
During an event by the organization “United Against a Nuclear Iran,” a bipartisan, non-profit defense organization whose objective is “to prevent Iran from fulfilling its ambition of becoming a regional superpower with nuclear weapons,” the 73-year-old Republican referred to the danger of the Islamic Republic and how it has spread to the Caribbean by maintaining ties with Cuba.
“Iran has represented a constant threat to the security interests of our country, and certainly to those of Israel as well.
And now we see that it is not just about Israel and the United States, but also about the Gulf region. Likewise, I want to point out that the press reports that there are 300 of these drones in Cuba.
Drones are organized in groups and can circumvent defense capabilities, as we have already seen in the Middle East,” he said.
Immediately afterwards, the son of the former 41st US president said he was convinced that one of Iran's objectives to counteract US supremacy in the war between both nations is to destabilize not only the Middle East but part of America.
“I think it is important to recognize that Iran has been working systematically with Cuba and Venezuela before Maduro left the regime, creating instability not only in Cuba, but certainly in the region,” he mentioned.
However, Jeb Bush fully trusts in the strategy implemented by Donald Trump to eradicate any indication that puts American security at risk.
“We are about to create a much more peaceful world by opposing this aggression,” he noted regarding the Iranian attacks carried out against some petro-monarchies where the United States decided to install military bases with the purpose of avoiding war conflicts.
However, President Trump's detractors accuse him of not only starting a war with Iran, which seems endless, but also of trying to start another war against Cuba.
