According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake was recorded at 7:30 p.m. (local time) and occurred at a depth of 56.8 kilometers.

The precise location of the phenomenon produced by nature was located at 12.61 degrees north latitude and 88.29 degrees west longitude.

The authorities of the three nations where the earthquake was felt most intensely maintain constant monitoring for possible aftershocks or damage that may arise.
