In what police described as a" cowardly" and targeted act of violence, a Texas girl is accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend's mother and her two younger sisters.

According to Odessa officers, the unnamed girl committed the murder on Tuesday night and found Jennifer Rodriguez, 39, dead inside her lavish house in Odessa, Texas, along with her 13-year-old girl and 9-year-old child. Around 5:45 p. m. , officers discovered the horrible scene after receiving reports of a shooting at the upscale complex Eighty Seven Apartments, which is 350 miles north of Dallas. The suspected shooter had a previous relationship with Rodriguez's daughter, who was 15 years her senior, and planned to shoot her outside the school before changing his mind and fleeing to the apartment, according to police. The triple murder did not cause the girl any physical harm. She was not at home at the time of the killing, according to the authorities. She's fine, she wasn't hurt, but I'm sure she's no okay after everything that happened to her family. However, literally speaking, Odessa Police Chief Mike Gerke stated at a media conference on Wednesday. According to authorities, the 15-year-old fled the scene and was taken about 40 days later. We were able to identify the suspect almost immediately from the moment it occurred, and after locating him, we made an arrest within 40 hours," according to Gerke. He is currently being held at the Ector County Juvenile Center on charges of capital murder, a criminal, and many killings. Officials have not yet revealed a motive behind the killings. Authorities are hopeful that the inspection will reveal that a handgun recovered from a shooting that is thought to have been used in the killings. Gerke described the firing as a blatant strike without any crew connections. and claimed that his office is aware of the source of the weapons but did not reveal how the teen got it. Texas does not impose the death penalty on killers who were under 18 when the offense occurred, but does do so in Texas. The people, friends, and people connected to the horror of last night are in our hearts and prayers. According to Gerke, it was a horrible and crude act of violence.
