Ground Beef Recalled in Several Locations Due to Possible E. coli Contamination

The U. S. Department of Agriculture ( USDA ) made a statement to consumers about the recall of roughly 2,855 pounds of ground beef due to potential E. coli contamination.
The Mountain West Food Group, which is based in Heyburn, Idaho, which distributed the foods to about six states, including California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Pennsylvania, and Washington, is responsible for the recall. This food was sold in a 16-ounce vacuum-sealed package labeled" Forward Farms," according to the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service ( FSIS ). with "EST 2083" printed on the side of the item and a use-by or melting day of January 13, 2026. The FSIS issued an alert to the public, stating that consuming this food may lead to diarrhea, vomiting, and other symptoms despite no reports of illness so much. So, it advises that consumers throw the food away or transfer it for a payment to the store where it was purchased.
