Los Angeles firefighters return after rescuing victims in Venezuela
After nearly two weeks of hard work in Venezuela, LACoFD firefighters and K-9 dogs return home with rescue stories and thanks
The Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) urban search and rescue team returned home after providing assistance in locating victims of the two earthquakes that hit Venezuela.
The members of the team called USA-2, made up of 71 people, six canine teams and 84,000 pounds of specialized rescue equipment, returned to California this Monday, July 6.
LACoFD deployed urban rescue specialists shortly after the two devastating earthquakes occurred on the afternoon of June 24.
