After a 155-mile police chase that crossed four Southeastern California districts on Monday evening, a girl managed to escape with an allegedly robbed car before crossing the border into Mexico, according to authorities.
The Ventura County Sheriff's Office claims that the pilot, 29-year-old Alyssa Wilson of Simi Valley, is responsible for stealing a gold Toyota Sienna car from a rehab facility in the 1900 block of East Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks.
Authorities attempted to stop the car after it was discovered in Simi Valley, but the pilot fled and drove over Highway 118, where she reportedly reached speeds of up to 90 mph.
